This isn't going to change overnight. New cars have been available in Cuba for some time, but no one outside the government, top officials, and rental car companies can afford them.

I was totally going to post this. Also, given the exchange rate these cars will all be LeMons budget certifiable. Keeping a huge fleet of 1950s american iron in continuous service with no replacement parts is the most LeMonsy and the most Oppo things anyone has ever done anyway.
